The idea of there even being a Kissing Booth these days…yeah, like that still happens. (Does it still happen, if so, I’m a bit worried…)

So, beyond all that…the movie opens with two friends who were born on the same day and their mothers were BFF so they were raised together.

The “image” is of two babies, a boy and a girl, being held by two nurses. So, cliché right there.

No moms, two babies in a nursery, being held in a sterile atmosphere by two nurses.

 

On a scale from 1-10, this hospital birth scene rates a 1 only because it didn’t go for the complete cliché of having someone have a horrific birth/death scene during birthing.
